Tom Poen is the president and co-founder of Weedex Inc. Tom was born and raised on a small farm in Iowa. Instilled in Tom from his agricultural background is the work ethic that he draws upon daily to push Weedex to superior levels of service and customer satisfaction.

Tom attended Iowa State University, has a B.S. in Business Management and a minor in Agronomy. He enjoys being outdoors, travel, friends and family and is a proud uncle to his niece Dakota.

Steve is a veteran in the lawn care industry. He has ten years experience working in residential and commercial lawn care. In the fall of 2007, Tom recruited Steve back into lawn care after a short two years in the IT world. Steve has been successful in the lawn care industry by delivering a superior level of service by setting and meeting all of his client's needs and expectations.

Steve was born and raised in Plano Texas and attended the University of North Texas from 87-91 studying business management. Steve and his wife Reba settled in McKinney 1996 and have enjoyed being married since 1993. They are proud parents of a son and two daughters.

Scott Poen, Commercial Division ManagerScott Poen, Commercial Division Manager
Scott Poen is manager of our commercial division. Raised in a farming environment in Northwest Iowa, Scott has worked in the field of agriculture from early in his youth. He brings this knowledge and solid work ethic learned from his experiences to Weedex with the goal of providing unparalleled residential service to our customers.

When not in the field, Scott enjoys spending time with older brothers Tom and Mike. He also enjoys playing golf, watching sports and staying physically fit. Scott is a proud uncle of niece, Dakota.
